Artist's Description
A multiple exposure and subsequent cross processing of an image of a Chilean Rose Hair tarantula crawling down the side of a wine goblet. These techniques account for the see-through effect and the odd blue/pink tones. I had previously decorated the wine glass with rhinestones. By the way, many species of tarantulas, especially the Rose Hair, have gentle dispositions. This one was a pet of mine.

Welcome! I'm a photographer currently living in northwest Iowa, but soon to be moving to Cody, Wyoming where my emphasis will be Victorian and Old West imagery. My portfolio is pretty mixed at the moment. I've been trying some different things like using a flatbed scanner to create macro images instead of a camera, adding textures to images with pen and ink stippling, and using the program Apophysis to experiment with fractal patterns.
